About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Agile Business Analyst for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days onsite per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The agile analyst will work with IT, business, and technology partners to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Serving as a facilitator between business and IT, this role is key to the overall management and success of projects through the entire lifecycle by leading the planning, eliciting, analyzing, and validating of requirements and business processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
4 years of experience in a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical product manager or business analyst role in a project-based environment
Experience working on multiple projects at the same time
Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies
Working experience in agile tools like JIRA is preferable
Good time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization
Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Ability to assess the scrum maturity of the team and organization
Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies/techniques
Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills
Intermediate skill with Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

Combine business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and facilitation
Serve as a servant leader and facilitator between business/dev partners and IT
Guide the team to be self-organized, remove impediments, and resolve issues
Lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing of requirements and business processes
Lead high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning and support
