Conduct site visits to assess material quality, quantity, accessibility, and overall feasibility. Drilling, sampling, and testing programs to determine aggregate characteristics.

Requirements

  • Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Iowa
  • Overnight Travel as needed
  • Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
  • Valid Driver’s License, preferably Class A.
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
  • Regular lifting and maneuvering of augers weighing approximately 80 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and evaluating potential aggregate sources through field investigations, mapping, historical records, and geological data.
  • Conduct site visits to assess material quality, quantity, accessibility, and overall feasibility.
  • Drilling, sampling, and testing programs to determine aggregate characteristics.
  • Math and Basic computer/Excel skills are required to run gradations
  • When times of no drilling help with other crews in a laborer Role
  • Prioritize safety at all times, following company and industry safety guidelines
  • Performs other tasks as needed
