About The Position

As an Aggregate Prospector, you will be hands-on with identifying and evaluating potential aggregate sources through field investigations, mapping, historical records, and geological data. You will conduct site visits to assess material quality, quantity, accessibility, and overall feasibility. This role also involves drilling, sampling, and testing programs to determine aggregate characteristics.

Requirements

Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Iowa
Overnight Travel as needed
Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
Valid Driver’s License, preferably Class A.
Acceptable motor vehicle record.
Be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
Regular lifting and maneuvering of augers weighing approximately 80 pounds

Responsibilities

Math and Basic computer/Excel skills are required to run gradations
When times of no drilling help with other crews in a laborer Role
Prioritize safety at all times, following company and industry safety guidelines
Performs other tasks as needed
