Requirements
- Willingness to complete the insurance licensing required for the position
- Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, banking, or another people-focused role
- Genuinely enjoy working with people
- Comfortable starting conversations with someone you don't know
- Goals give you something to chase rather than something to avoid
- Persistent and don't get discouraged easily
- Take feedback well and put it into practice
- Dependable and good at staying organized
Nice To Haves
- Already licensed or have previous insurance experience
Responsibilities
- Work with new leads and connect with prospective customers
- Learn how to prepare quotes and explain coverage options
- Help clients with Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
- Follow up with prospects throughout the decision-making process
- Develop relationships that turn new customers into long-term clients
- Look for additional ways to help existing customers protect what matters to them
- Keep your leads and conversations organized through agency systems
- Build your sales skills through hands-on coaching and practice
