Requirements

  • A D.E.P. in Aircraft Wiring and Circuit Assembly, OR
  • Proof of successful completion of an accelerated electrical training program, OR
  • A D.E.C. or A.E.C. in Avionics Technology, OR
  • A high school diploma AND a minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft electrical assembler within the last 5 years.
  • You demonstrate autonomy and initiative and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • You will be required to work in confined spaces.
  • You will be required to work regularly at heights of up to 30 feet.
  • Ability to adopt and maintain various physical positions required for the role.
  • This position requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to acting with integrity, which is the foundation of the company’s success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
  • Communication skills in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams from assembly workbooks.
  • Manufacture electrical harnesses in accordance with drawing, diagram, and work procedure requirements.
  • Route, crimp, install, and secure wires, cables, harnesses, and equipment.
  • Test the continuity and conductivity of the final assembly.
  • Perform quality control on manufactured subassemblies and electrical harnesses.
  • Ensure compliance with production standards and production pace.
  • Perform other related duties that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
