About The Position

The Agency Sales Director (ASD) will provide sales leadership, direction and management oversight to Sales Directors (SD). The ASD is responsible for coordinating training activities for independent agents in their down-line. The ASD will also be responsible for personal sales when directed by management.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid life & health insurance license.
  • High school diploma or undergraduate degree. Industry experience may be substituted for educational qualification.
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in insurance marketing and sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and motivating independent or career insurance agents.
  • Possess basic computer navigation skills and software proficiency (email, word processing, spreadsheets, internet, Adobe).

Responsibilities

  • Recruit new SD’s as well as independent contractor agents.
  • Follow up with new agents to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding.
  • Regularly train agents on products and selling tools.
  • Communicate with, service and retain top level independent contractor agents.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required by management.
  • Strive to meet company sales objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
