About The Position

The Agency Grants Manager provides staff support focused on intermediate-term program issues with agency-wide application. The role includes program development, planning, monitoring, analysis, grants management, recommending policies and procedures, program research, and evaluating the effects of changes in rules, regulations, and legislative proposals on service delivery. The position requires thorough knowledge of program management, analytical principles, and service integration. Work is carried out independently based on an outline or work plan developed by or approved by the supervisor.

This is a restricted position funded solely by the Rural Health Transformation Grant, which ends September 30, 2027. Funding availability is scheduled for review before the grant expires and periodically thereafter; continued employment depends on continued availability of funds.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of governmental accounting principles, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Previous knowledge and experience with state and federal grant financial management and reporting requirements, and cash management techniques.
• Proven experience with federal time and effort reporting requirements.
• Documented ability to manage people and processes.
• Confirmed experience with the Commonwealth's Accounting & Reporting System and PeopleSoft.
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, and Word, with experience using database applications.
• Thorough knowledge of program management, analytical principles, and service integration.
