About The Position
The North Lambton Community Health Centre is seeking two Afterschool Youth Leaders for contract positions from September 2026 to June 2027. These roles are part of the Afterschool Strategy, funded by the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries. The Youth Leader will collaborate with the Project Leader to design, implement, and assess various life skills and personal development activities for youth aged 12 to 18. Programming will be offered in Forest, with dedicated sessions for 2SLGBTQAI+ youth.
Requirements
- Currently working towards O.S.S.D.
- Experience working with youth aged 12-18.
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills.
- Availability to attend special events.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of life skills and personal development activities for youth aged 12 to 18.
- Deliver programming in Forest.
- Conduct specific sessions dedicated to 2SLGBTQAI+ youth.
- Work closely with the Project Leader.
