About The Position

Columbia Academy Elementary & Middle School is seeking an Afterschool Teacher to ensure students’ safety and well-being while implementing age-appropriate activities in a fun and educational manner. The role involves supporting children’s development and growth, monitoring their progress, and helping create a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. Additional hours may be available during spring break and summer camps.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
• Meet state-specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience working with school-age children.
• MSDE School Age clock hour certification.
• CPR/First Aid qualification.
