About The Position

Bambini Montessori Academy is seeking a warm, patient Infant & Toddler Aide to join their afternoon team. This role is for a high-quality, inclusive Montessori-inspired child care center serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, specifically in the Infant and Toddler classrooms. The position involves assisting lead teachers in caring for infants and toddlers, supporting their routines, engaging them in play and learning, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and communicating with families.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• Infant/Toddler experience strongly preferred (childcare center, nanny, or family care)
• 45-hour Infant/Toddler Child Development training preferred — or willingness to complete
• Gentle, patient, and reliable with a genuine love for babies

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in caring for infants and toddlers (6 weeks–24 months)
• Help with diapering, feeding, bottle prep, and nap time routines
• Engage babies and toddlers in age-appropriate sensory play and learning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children's social-emotional development with patience and care
• Communicate warmly with families and work as part of a team
