About The Position

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking an Aftermarket Sales Support Representative. This is a full time, on-site position based at our Grand Rapids, MI facility. The Aftermarket Sales Support Representative partners with cross functional teams to support day to day sales activities and ensure efficient execution of customer orders. The position serves as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers, delivering clear, timely, and professional communication throughout the order lifecycle. Responsibilities include monitoring internal repair orders, communicating status updates, and ensuring quality requirements and quoted on time delivery commitments are met. The role also emphasizes building and maintaining effective working relationships that support growth opportunities. Acting as an extension of the Aftermarket sales team, the representative supports on site operations and contributes to sales execution while maintaining operational efficiency and customer confidence.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience interfacing with customers.
  • Must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, follow-up, ability to learn and apply new concepts, ability to follow detailed work instructions, effective communication skills (verbal and written), presentation skills and data analysis skills.
  • Possess ability to develop, implement, and achieve ambitious sales goals
  • Possess ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization, drive results, and influence outcomes through collaboration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong planning and organizational capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace Industry experience
  • Prior experience in the purchase and sale of used and serviceable materials
  • Experience with e‑commerce platforms (Aeroxchange, ILS, B2B Aero) and digital marketing initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Functions as primary contact for customer-related inquiries and represents the voice of the customer and USM team within the facility.
  • Performs review of all material to be routed for repair.
  • Accountable for ensuring orders are entered into the ERP system and/or other support databases.
  • Provides continuous feedback externally and internally on order status throughout the repair cycle by providing proactive communication in anticipation of customers’ needs.
  • Coordinates the internal activities of all departments involved in achieving customer commitments.
  • Coordinates issue resolution (when necessary) by achieving a mutually acceptable solution between Eaton and the customer.
  • Assesses market channel delivery options (direct vs distribution).
  • Fundamental understanding of regulatory processes around Aerospace and Export Controls and assures compliance with all export control regulations- ITAR
  • Assess current practices for continuous process improvements.
  • Maintains web marketing sites by updating pricing and inventory levels.
  • Supports in negotiating customer pricing, delivery, administrative requirements and conditions ensuring compliance with Eaton’s policies, terms and conditions from proposal through shipment.
  • Coordinates logistics between Eaton sites when routing material in or out from repair.
