Requirements

  • A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability.
  • Three years in parts merchandising and two years of truck parts sales or automotive parts sales.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional product training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and gross profit goals established by the Aftermarket Sales Manager
  • Maintain regular contact with established customer accounts
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new customer accounts
  • Actively sell the full range of applicable aftermarket products, including parts, collision, and service offerings
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all customers
  • Build strong relationships by making daily contact with major accounts
  • Maintain a working knowledge of vendor products, merchandising programs, and promotions
  • Utilize dealership parts, ordering, and inventory systems accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere to dealership credit policies and procedures
