About The Position

This business-to-business sales position is responsible for the sale of contract maintenance programs for material handling equipment and catalog parts sales. The role involves pursuing new business and developing key existing accounts in an assigned territory. The representative will analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships through cold calls, presentations, and following up on leads. This position requires developing sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts, as well as conducting product demonstrations and sales presentations. Additionally, the role involves preparing quotations, cost reports, performance reports, and customer correspondence. A territory management plan must be developed to maximize customer time for new business acquisition and customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction. The representative will utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information, and discuss sales activities with management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience.
