WesTech is seeking an Aftermarket Estimator responsible for analyzing construction drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, material, equipment, and labor estimates for assigned products, projects, or services. This role requires applying specialized knowledge of methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes. The Aftermarket Estimator will provide preliminary estimates for planning and detailed itemized estimates based on final plans and specifications. Key responsibilities include reviewing data to determine material and labor requirements, developing itemized lists, computing cost factors for management purposes (planning, organizing, scheduling, bidding, vendor selection, cost-effectiveness), and conducting special studies to establish standard hour/cost data or effect cost reductions. The role also involves consulting with clients and vendors to formulate estimates and resolve issues, and revising estimates as requested. Specialization may occur based on service, product type, or work phase.
