About The Position

Jovie is an independently owned, community- and purpose-driven organization that provides caregivers with training, resources, and support to develop their childcare skills and confidence. This role is caring for three children in a Webster Groves family, starting in January and continuing through the remainder of the school year. The family is seeking a kind, patient, and consistent sitter with exceptional communication skills to help ensure the children's needs are met. The schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position pays $16.00 per hour plus mileage. The stated duration is January through June 2027, with possibly more hours during the summer. The family would like someone flexible enough to transition to full days when the children are off school or during summer months.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Be willing to transport children as part of the duties.
Submit to a mandatory background check.
Have exceptional communication skills.
