This role is a stepping stone into a career in education, leadership, advocacy, social entrepreneurship, and social justice. The After School Program Assistant Coordinator will assist the Program Coordinator in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the program at the school site, including facilities management, attendance tracking and reporting, staffing, discipline, state/school requirements, and compliance. They will also assist in the coordination of student activities, write lesson plans, and support program staff. The role requires active supervision of students to ensure their safety at all times and providing program support in areas as needed, including substituting. The Assistant Coordinator will support students in developing the skills they need to be successful in school and life.
