About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach Martial Arts & Chess to students in grades K-5. This after-school program runs from October to December, with classes held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 PM to 4:40 PM at our West Hempstead, NY location.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or instructing Martial Arts and/or Chess.
- Ability to work with children in grades K-5.
- Reliable transportation to the West Hempstead, NY site.
- Availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 PM to 4:40 PM during the October-December period.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with after-school programs.
- Knowledge of both Martial Arts and Chess.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Teach Martial Arts and Chess to students in grades K-5.
- Conduct classes during specified after-school hours.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding class progress and any issues.
