About The Position

BrightBee is seeking candidates to support students in local after-school programs. This role involves supporting students' educational goals and assisting with canteen/food service operations as directed by each school site. The more sites and assignment types a candidate is open to, the greater their earning potential. BrightBee connects workers with schools and nonprofits, allowing them to claim assignments via an app and get paid weekly. The company's mission is to help schools succeed and provide workers with tools for career growth.

Requirements

High school diploma
Willingness/ability to commute to various school sites in the Beaufort area.
Ability to pay for and pass a background check.
Ability to follow safety and reporting guidelines.
Ability to undergo background check, livescan, and potentially other necessary testing/clearances.
Provide authorization to contact former employers.

Nice To Haves

6 months of working with youth is preferred for certain sites.

Responsibilities

Support students in local after-school programs.
Support students' after-school educational goals.
Assist with canteen/food service capabilities as directed by each school site.
Claim assignments at schools/non-profits in your area using the BrightBee app.
Follow safety and reporting guidelines.
Undergo background checks and comply with mandated reporter training and reporting requirements.
Potentially lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
