About The Position

We are looking for energetic After School Dance Teachers to lead fun, creative, age-appropriate dance classes for students aged 5–10 at elementary schools across multiple Bay Area locations. Classes typically have 5–10 students. Teachers use provided lesson plans and help create a positive, engaging environment. The position is part-time, with weekday work between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM for approximately 2–5 hours per week. Candidates must be local and authorized to work in the United States; visa assistance is not available.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old and have reliable transportation in the Bay Area.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a classroom professionally.
• Be reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be fully vaccinated and willing to complete a background check.
• Be a local candidate and authorized to work in the United States; visa assistance is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in dance, teaching or performing, is preferred.
• Ability to teach more than one sport, including tennis, basketball, pickleball, volleyball, soccer, yoga, PE/Olympic Hopes, or floor hockey.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, age-appropriate dance classes for students aged 5–10, with 5–10 students per class.
• Use provided lesson plans and help create a positive and engaging environment.
• Transport and set up any needed dance materials.
• Take attendance, sign students in and out, and communicate with parents or staff.
• Capture session highlights with photos.
• Attend up to two unpaid training or shadowing sessions to learn the program structure.
