About The Position

Teach after-school dance classes for children ages 5–10 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Programs run Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This part-time role typically involves teaching one approximately one-hour class per day, with the possibility of an additional 30 minutes of pre-care. Classes are designed to provide younger and beginner-level children with a fun, energetic, and positive environment. Class sizes are typically 8–16 students. Pay is listed as $50–$65 per session and, elsewhere in the posting, as $50–$65 per hour. The company provides equipment and requires a two-day training or shadowing session before the role begins. Candidates must live locally and be available to work in person.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old when applying.
Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
Must enjoy working with children in a positive and active setting.
Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
Must already be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the sport being applied for, coaching, or working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
