About The Position
A family in Wilmington, MA 01887 is seeking an engaging, reliable, and attentive caregiver to provide after-school supervision and care for their two children (ages 12 and 8) who both have special needs. This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, totaling 9 hours per week. The position starts as soon as possible. The home is smoke-free and has four cats. The family is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working in a home with pets
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- CNA experience
- Basic knowledge of tracheostomy care (training will be provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive after-school care and supervision for two children with special needs
- Engage the children in safe, age-appropriate activities
- Provide occasional transportation to local children's activities
- Support daily evening routines and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
