About The Position

Generation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to improving economic mobility through employment. We train and place adults into careers, partnering with governments, employers, and other stakeholders. Since 2015, Generation has served over 150,000 graduates and partnered with 23,000 employers across 17 countries. Our programs significantly improve employment rates and earning potential for graduates, many of whom come from underrepresented communities and have secondary school backgrounds. Generation is expanding its operations in Africa, currently anchored in Ghana and Kenya, with plans to scale to four or more countries within two years. We aim to pilot a sector ecosystem model and increase financial sustainability through earned revenue. The Africa Employer Partnerships Manager will be crucial in driving this expansion by leading employer engagement, securing multi-country partnerships with multinational employers, and driving demand and placement opportunities in new markets like Nigeria, Ethiopia, and South Africa.
