About The Position

The Affiliate Marketing Specialist - International is an execution-focused position supporting iHerb’s global affiliate and referral marketing programs. This role will report to the Sr. Global Affiliate Marketing Manager and support day-to-day affiliate program implementation and growth initiatives, working closely with the Global Affiliate Marketing team. This role will interface cross-functionally with our international teams and marketing operations teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in affiliate marketing, performance partnerships, influencer marketing, referral marketing, or digital marketing experience, preferably in ecommerce or agency environments.
  • Experience supporting affiliate marketing programs using platforms such as Partnerize, Impact, CJ, or Awin.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, experienced in digital marketing execution, and passionate about driving global affiliate program expansion.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, timelines, and recurring operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating affiliate communications, including newsletters, outreach emails, and promotional updates.
  • Familiarity with affiliate tracking links, commission structures, and campaign implementation processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and across international markets and different cultures.
  • Both a strong strategic thinker, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data/insights into strong marketing strategies, and a highly organized “doer,” with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to review and analyze campaign performance data, identify trends or issues.
  • Experience in growth-stage ecommerce company, affiliate marketing agency, or digital marketing agency highly preferred.
  • Customer-oriented and hyper-analytical, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Generally requires a minimum of two (2) plus years of digital marketing and/or marketing operations experience, preferably in DTC ecommerce or digital agency environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional-working proficiency or native proficiency in any major global language
  • Preferred languages include: Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese, with opportunity for additional global language options available.
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with experience analyzing data and creating detailed reports. Familiarity with data functions, pivot tables, and advanced formulas is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and day-to-day management of iHerb’s global affiliate, content, influencer programs, and special projects to help drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Execute new affiliate discovery strategy and recruitment outreach, dormant affiliate activation, and existing affiliate optimization efforts for the iHerb affiliate programs.
  • Assist with affiliate onboarding and recruitment efforts through proactive outreach, prospecting, and onboarding, ensuring proper tracking implementation, and providing relationship support for partners across key international markets.
  • Create and disseminate affiliate newsletters, promotional communications, and campaign updates aligned with the global promotional calendar across affiliate networks and via email.
  • Implement affiliate commission changes, schedule bonuses, create tracking links, facilitate promotional assets across affiliate platforms, including Partnerize, Impact, Awin, and CJ.
  • Collect screenshots of all promotional placements, creating campaign recap decks for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the creative team and marketing operations teams to align with the existing promotional calendar, ensuring affiliate campaigns, promotions, and assets are launched accurately and distributed on schedule.
  • Monitor affiliate program activity, analyze the incrementality and performance of promotional placements, and identify opportunities for optimization, escalation, or follow-up support.
  • Prepare recurring reports on affiliate program and publisher performance, campaign activity, and partner engagement for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized documentation of affiliate communications, recruitment pipelines, commission structures, and implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with International Affiliate Managers and International teams to support localized affiliate campaigns and market-specific initiatives.
  • Evaluate and propose strategic recommendations to grow the affiliate channel by international market.
  • Review TM+ violations and communicate with partners on the removal of paid search ads.
