About The Position

Regis University invites applications for an affiliate faculty position in the English department to teach 16-week undergraduate courses in early British literature and introductory literature as needed by the BA Program within Regis College. Requirements

  • PhD, MFA, or MA in a related field, such as English, Literature, or Creative Writing from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association or evaluated as a non-US equivalent degree
  • Undergraduate teaching experience
  • Expertise in early British literature

Responsibilities

  • Teach a British literature survey for majors and an introductory literature course for non-majors.
  • Design course syllabi and assignments.
  • Plan and teach lessons.
  • Hold regular office hours, meet with students as needed.
  • Communicate with students in a timely fashion: answer student emails, keep grades up to date on WorldClass.
