About The Position

American Vision Partners is seeking an Aesthetics Technician to help grow its aesthetics department and contribute to the business, with potential for future promotion as needs arise. The technician is responsible for creating an outstanding guest experience, building client relationships and a clientele, and communicating the value of the spa’s services and products. The role calls for excellent customer service, a personable and credible manner, thorough knowledge of the spa’s offerings, integrity, and a strong work ethic. The technician is expected to be team-oriented, motivated, able to make sound decisions, and quick to learn.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as an aesthetic technician.
Prior medical spa or cosmetic experience.
Ability to be friendly and personable with customers.
Positive, professional, and pleasant demeanor.
Effective relationship-building skills.
Honesty, reliability, a strong work ethic, and schedule flexibility.
Skincare sales experience.
Strong interest in continuing education and learning new techniques.
Ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive, detailed skin evaluations for customers.
Assess customers’ suitability for services and recommend appropriate options.
Promote sales of services and products, attract new clients, and retain existing clients.
Document work and use the EMR software system proficiently.
Keep aesthetic treatment rooms clean and orderly, and display products as required.
Provide excellent customer service.
Recommend and explain services and products that fit each customer’s needs and goals.
Participate in educational activities to support company growth and develop professional knowledge.
Work respectfully as part of a team and create a friendly, helpful customer experience.
Follow proper attire, attendance, and schedule expectations, and use clinic promotional tools such as memberships, loyalty programs, promotions, and referrals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
