About The Position

This is a full-time role for an Aesthetician. The clinics are open Monday-Thursday 9AM-8PM and Friday & Saturdays from 9AM-6PM. The Aesthetician will perform cosmetic and aesthetic procedures and treatments involving the skin, face, and body. They will promote client retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care. The role also involves providing client education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice is essential. The Aesthetician will participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required, and represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions. They will also assist other providers and the practice's support team as directed, demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business, and maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. Adherence to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols is crucial, as is compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations. Maintaining professional competency through continuing education, literature review, and collaboration is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

Valid NY Esthetician License
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aesthetics field, with a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, educate them on treatments, and provide clear follow-through on their care plans
Proficient in performing consultations, cross-promoting services and skincare products, and demonstrating the ability to close sales effectively
Hands-on experience with a wide range of treatments, including facials, chemical peels, Dermaplaning, and advanced procedures such as cosmetic lasers, light-based therapy, micro-needling, and/or CoolSculpting
Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols to recommend the best options for each client’s unique needs

Nice To Haves

Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment is preferred

Responsibilities

Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position
Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education programs, reviewing relevant literature, and collaborating with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetics as an aesthetician
