About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aesthetician to join our team in South Miami, FL. This full-time position involves providing a range of cosmetic services and consultations to patients. The ideal candidate will be board-certified, experienced with various aesthetic procedures and equipment, and possess excellent patient care and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing patient appointments, performing treatments, educating patients on services and products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to handle medical office equipment, and a commitment to patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Board Certified Aesthetician in the State of Texas
- Experience preferred
- Laser Hair Removal Certification
- Experience with Lasers and IPL machines
- Experience with microdermabrasion and chemical peels
- Computer literate
- Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
- Must possess the manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and iPad
- Stooping, bending to handle files and supplies
- Mobility to complete errands or deliveries
- Includes handling of sharps and chemicals
- Valid Driver License with acceptable driving history

Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultations
- Be available for patient consultation at the request of a physician
- Perform cosmetic procedures as directed by a physician
- Room patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results, and potential risks, and obtain patient signature on appropriate consents
- Educate patients about our services and skincare products
- Assist patients in skincare products selection
- Follow up with patients after treatment
- Document patient and treatment information
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Wash and sterilize supplies, instruments, and equipment daily
- Set up, clean, and disinfect the aesthetician room daily
- Order cosmetic supplies and products through approved vendors
- Responsible for maintaining inventory and ordering of products and samples
- Responsible for maintaining equipment
- Other duties as assigned
