Aerospace Sales/ Estimator
About The Position
FC Precision, a division of FC Industries, Inc., is expanding its presence in the aerospace/defense and precision manufacturing market. The company is seeking an experienced Aerospace Sales/Estimator with strong knowledge of precision machining and AS9100 QMS. This role involves contacting customers and potential customers to gather information, estimate projects, and prepare quotes to meet customer requirements. The position is key in connecting world-class customers with precision manufacturing solutions and offers an opportunity to build relationships within a growing company known for innovation, collaboration, and tackling complex, tight-tolerance projects for clients like NASA, SpaceX, and GE.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience
- Previous estimating experience
- Direct sales experience with emphasis on major accounts
- Ability to read blueprints
- General knowledge of tooling and machining
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and formal and group presentations
- Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, employees, and the general public
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of precision machining
- Familiarity with AS9100 QMS
Responsibilities
- Develop quotes by partnering with existing suppliers and researching alternatives.
- Communicate effectively across diverse teams of customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Estimate precision machined parts.
- Engage in direct sales.
- Responsible for customer development, ongoing service of existing customers, quoting, and order entry.
- Maintain existing customer relationships, interfacing with purchasing, engineering, and quality departments.
- Provide customer service.
- Manage pricing and adjustments.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and outside personnel.
- Follow work instructions, procedures, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
