About The Position

CMI Group is seeking a Quality Inspector (Final Inspection) for their Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing facility in Tempe, AZ. This role requires a strong background in aerospace quality and proficiency in advanced mechanical inspection techniques. The position is on the day shift and requires the ability to work 40+ hours per week in a fast-paced, high-demand, quality environment. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or trade school.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to sit or stand up to 8 hours per day.
• Sufficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Aerospace quality background preferred.
• Proficiency in GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections of aerospace components.
• Utilize calipers, thread gages, and micrometers for inspection.
• Ensure compliance with AS9102 standards.
• Input AS9102 data into ERP/NET Inspect and Excel.
• Perform advanced mechanical inspections.
