About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Roseville, MI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical inspection, blueprint reading, and quality documentation, along with a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical inspection and visual quality standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace manufacturing

Responsibilities

Read and interpret work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints to determine inspection requirements
Inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products for conformance to specifications
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measurement tools
Record inspection data and compare results against engineering drawings and standards
Mark and document products as accepted or rejected based on findings
Test and measure components and assemblies to verify functionality and accuracy
Communicate inspection results with team members and supervisors
Maintain clear, accurate, and organized inspection records
Assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all quality policies, procedures, and work instructions
Support compliance with aerospace manufacturing quality standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
