About The Position

A day in this role When you arrive for A Shift, you’ll step into a clean, air‑conditioned, high‑precision aerospace facility where uptime matters. You’ll review maintenance logs, line up parts and tools, and move from planned service tasks to rapid troubleshooting that keeps production on track. Your work directly safeguards equipment reliability and the quality standards our aerospace customers expect.

Requirements

  • 2+ years as a maintenance mechanic in manufacturing; aerospace experience is a plus
  • Hands‑on knowledge of mechanical assemblies, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, prints, and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Quality‑minded approach in a regulated, precision environment

Nice To Haves

  • aerospace experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and support equipment
  • Diagnose and repair issues across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Drive high equipment availability and sustained uptime to meet production targets
  • Assist with machinery installation, calibration, and precise adjustments
  • Partner with engineering and production to ensure safe, efficient operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance methods and standards
