Precision Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Engineer
About The Position
TekPro is searching for a Precision Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Engineer to champion quality at a well-established aerospace components site in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This role involves architecting and maintaining a quality system for high-precision aerospace parts, leading root cause analysis for nonconformances, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The engineer will support customer and regulatory audits to ensure alignment with aerospace standards, analyze trends and metrics for continuous improvement, and partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to sustain product conformance. Key responsibilities also include building inspection plans, owning documentation, and guiding process validation.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related technical area
- 3+ years in manufacturing quality engineering
- Mastery of quality systems, root cause tools, and CI methodologies
- Comfort with inspection processes, documentation standards, and quality metrics
