About The Position

This role is responsible for facilitating the order entry process from beginning to end for assigned customers, answering basic technical questions, and acting as a liaison between customers and various internal departments. The specialist will build positive relationships with major customers, prepare quotes and status updates, and review purchase orders for accuracy. Ensuring accurate and timely service, responding proactively to customer requests, and managing weekly orderbook calls are key aspects of the position. The role also involves tracking customer orderbooks against forecasts and ensuring alignment between forecasts and customer planning.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering-related field.
  • 5-8 years relevant account management experience in manufacturing.
  • Exceptional accuracy in high-volume process driven work.
  • Strong written and verbal skills for communicating technical and commercial information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to keep customers satisfied while maintaining company guidelines.
  • Must be detail oriented and follow issues through to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the aerospace industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
