About The Position

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a 2nd Shift Aerosol Line Operator. The role fills production batches into aerosol containers according to batch tickets and performs routine maintenance, mechanical adjustments, and repairs to production line machines as needed. No experience is necessary; fill-off experience and prior Aerosol Line Attendant knowledge are preferred. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and shift differential are mentioned.

Requirements

Basic math and measurement skills.
Basic reading and comprehension skills.
Basic mechanical and machine repair skills.
Ability to determine correct processes for standard aerosol filling procedures as instructed in initial training.
Ability to make basic mechanical adjustments and recognize when additional assistance is needed.
Ability to work without continuous supervision and complete assigned projects.

Nice To Haves

Fill-off experience preferred.
Prior Aerosol Line Attendant knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Locate the correct product and filling materials, such as cans, lids, and labels, to fill aerosol containers according to batch ticket instructions.
Set up filling-line equipment and perform changeovers for new batch ticket orders.
Review completed orders for final product counts and fill rates.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Perform routine maintenance and make mechanical or electrical adjustments or repairs to production line machines as needed.
