About The Position

At MasTec Communications Group, the Aerial Lineman supports overhead construction and repair of RF and fiber service. The role includes installing, relocating, and maintaining aerial plant, working from a bucket truck or climbing poles, interpreting schematics and construction prints, and troubleshooting issues in the field. The position is safety-minded and emphasizes quality work, teamwork, hands-on problem-solving, and long-term projects.

Requirements

• Experienced lineman with extensive knowledge of equipment needed for aerial work.
• Comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card for driving purposes.
• Must meet company standards for a safe driving record; applicants are subject to an MVR review.
• Safety-minded, with a track record of completing quality work.
• Able to solve problems and work hands-on as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.
• MOS Codes 2847, B05A, 3D157, 002599, 5699, 12P, and 12Q relate well to this position.
