About The Position

At MasTec Communications Group, the Aerial Lineman supports overhead construction and repair of RF and fiber service. The role involves installing, relocating, and maintaining aerial plants, reading schematics and construction prints, and troubleshooting issues in the field. The position requires a safety-minded, hands-on approach and comfort working with a team, climbing poles, and using a bucket truck. Travel and night work may be needed.

Requirements

Be safety-minded in day-to-day work.
Be able to travel and work nights when needed.
Have a track record of completing work to a high level of quality.
Have problem-solving ability and enjoy hands-on work.
Be interested in long-term projects and working with a team.
Have experience as a Lineman and extensive knowledge of equipment needed for aerial work.
Be comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles.
Have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card for driving purposes.
Meet company standards for a safe driving record; applicants are subject to an MVR review.

MOS Codes 2847, B05A, 3D157, 002599, 5699, 12P, and 12Q relate well to this position.
