About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AEM Template developer with strong Java Full Stack experience, including hands-on Java coding, to join our team. This role is crucial for a large migration effort and requires the ability to develop and maintain complex XDP form templates. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AEM Forms 6.5 LTS and related design tools, with a solid understanding of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, and core AEM frameworks. Responsibilities include template development, batch monitoring, pager support, and coaching team members. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a multi-phased migration effort and contributing to development documentation and standards.

Requirements

Primary Platform: AEM Forms 6.5 LTS
Form Design Tools: AEM Forms Designer / Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
Strong Experience Languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML5
Strong Experienced Core Frameworks: OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, Form Data Model (FDM)
Experienced Data Formats: XML, XSD, XFA, JSON, Document Fragments
Experienced Tools & Build: Maven, Git, Eclipse
5+ Years of experience
Strong Java Full Stack experience, including hands-on Java coding.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain complex XDP form templates using AEM Forms Designer (Former LiveCycle Designer) for print, web, and correspondence channels.
Structure XDP layouts with subforms, target areas, tables, layout fragments, and dynamic images.
Map XDP templates with XML Schema (XSD), Form Data Models (FDM), and JSON datasets to enable dynamic data prefill and secure submission.
AEM template development at a fast pace to accomplish a large migration effort.
Batch monitoring and pager support.
Coach team members as needed in AEM template development activities.
