Children’s Wisconsin provides child well-being services to help children live in a safe and nurturing environment. They offer services to parents needing education and guidance to improve their parenting skills so their children can remain with them. They also provide services to children who are placed with foster families until they can return home or become part of an adoptive family. This position coordinates visits of all patients to the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), provides families and children support and advocacy including crisis intervention, education, and referrals to community resources. It also provides brief case management and follow up following the initial CAC visit. Under the direction of the CAC Manager, performs psychosocial evaluation of children and families seen at the CAC and serves as a liaison between the family/child and investigating agencies.
