Advisor, Demand Planning
About The Position
The Advisor, Demand Planning supports forecasting and documentation, maintains accurate records, and prepares reports to help the team deliver timely outcomes. The role collaborates across Sales and Supply Chain to collect inputs and track assumptions, improving data quality and process efficiency. The position is on Dell Technologies’ Demand Planning team in Austin, Texas. Dell Technologies’ Materials and Procurement team manages indirect categories and develops strategic relationships with external suppliers and key stakeholders. The broader team’s work includes contract negotiations, risk management, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic sourcing best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in asset management or finance operations.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of planning lifecycle processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with consensus documentation or planning workflows.
Responsibilities
- Support forecast calculations and approvals for demand changes.
- Maintain accurate records in planning tools and ensure audit-ready documentation.
