The Media Group at NBCU supports a collection of consumer-first brands including Peacock, NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports, and NBCU International, fostering collaboration and innovation. NBCUniversal’s Advertising and Program Standards Department is responsible for reviewing advertisements and program content across NBCUniversal’s TV & Streaming properties to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. This includes reviewing scripted, unscripted, and live entertainment programming for issues such as the depiction of sexual material, nudity, violence, language/dialogue, use of drugs, alcohol, and the avoidance of negative stereotypes. The department also reviews advertisements to ensure compliance with FTC, FCC, FDA guidelines, and internal policies. In this internship, you will be exposed to Standards across NBCUniversal’s TV & Streaming business and will have the opportunity to work with the entire department.
