About The Position

AdPro is a premier full-service advertising agency serving a diverse portfolio of clients, including Phil Long Dealerships, Colorado's largest privately held automotive group representing 10 brands with over 20 locations across Colorado and Raton, New Mexico. The Phil Long Advertising Account Manager leads the Phil Long Account Services team and oversees the successful execution of integrated marketing strategies across all Phil Long dealerships and corporate initiatives. This role provides leadership, operational oversight, and strategic guidance while ensuring exceptional client service, efficient workflows, and profitable account management. Working closely with dealership leadership and internal departments, this position is responsible for developing the team, strengthening client relationships, and driving operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of advertising, marketing, or agency account management experience.
  • Leadership or people management experience required.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, budgeting, project management, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Automotive marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Phil Long Account Services team.
  • Manage team workloads, priorities, hiring, onboarding, and performance.
  • Lead team meetings and promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training on agency processes, compliance, workflows, and budget management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous process improvement across the Account Services team.
  • Build trusted relationships with General Managers, dealership leadership, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic client meetings and quarterly planning sessions.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend marketing strategies that support business objectives.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Account Services to resolve escalated client concerns quickly while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Director of Account Services regarding significant client developments and opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with Creative, Media, Digital, Production, and Finance to execute integrated campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for growing agency services and increase revenue across Phil Long accounts.
  • Oversee campaign execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Manage budgets, production tracking, co-op submissions, reporting, and campaign logistics.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Account Services and Controller on forecasting, contracts, and financial performance.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Account Services to improve department processes and maintain operational consistency.
