About The Position
The Advancement Department internship offers students an excellent opportunity to learn about advancement activities including grant-writing, research, and fund raising. The focus of these efforts will be on seniors, immigrants and refugees, children/young adults separated from their families of origin, and workforce issues.
Requirements
- Currently attending a 4-year undergraduate program, graduated within 3 months or working towards a master’s degree in a field related to the internship
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in nonprofit work and/or writing experience
