The University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design Department of Studio Art Sculpture program fosters traditional, experimental, and transdisciplinary approaches to contemporary sculpture through rigorous studio practice, critical inquiry, and professional development. Students develop technical expertise in areas such as woodworking, welding, metal fabrication, casting, digital fabrication, installation, and public art while cultivating an individual creative voice within a nationally recognized arts environment. Sculpture faculty Alicia Eggert seeks temporary studio assistant and advanced studio assistant to support faculty research, maintain safe and efficient studio operations, and assist with the preparation of materials, equipment, and facilities for the creation of new sculptural work. The position requires strong technical knowledge of sculptural processes—including woodworking, welding, metal fabrication, casting, digital fabrication, and installation—as well as the ability to work independently, communicate professionally, and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic studio environment.
