About The Position

Genesee Community College (GCC), part of the State University of New York (SUNY), is seeking to hire Advanced Studies Instructors. These instructors will be teachers currently employed by an ACE partner school district who are seeking approval to teach a course for GCC credit at their high school as part of their regular course offerings. GCC is a student-centered collegiate community serving a large region in Western New York State with multiple campus locations and a strong emphasis on cutting-edge technology and diverse academic programs. The college is recognized for its high-quality education and student support services.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in the discipline they are seeking to teach or a related Master's Degree with at least 12 credit hours of graduate study in the discipline.
• Approval of their school administration to offer the GCC course.
• Submit a syllabus for approval prior to the course being offered for student registration.
• Submit an official GCC application.
• Submit an updated resume.
• Submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended (undergraduate, graduate & transfer).
• Specify the exact course they wish to teach (e.g., ENG 101, MAT 129).

• Cover letters are helpful, however not required.

Responsibilities
