About The Position

The Facility Services Department at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for temporary and permanent full-time Cleaner positions. SUNY Oswego is accepting applications as a continuous recruitment effort for temporary and permanent Cleaners. If/when vacancies occur, applications will be reviewed. Requirements

Candidates must be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor, and able to understand and carry out written and verbal instruction.
Basic knowledge of various cleaning products and equipment.
Must be reliable, and able to work on your own.
Must be very adaptable to working under time limits and multiple demands.

Responsibilities

Perform routine manual labor requiring medium to heavy physical effort, including cleaning tubs, tile, toilets, sinks, urinals; dust offices, residential and /or classroom furniture.
Perform a large amount of snow shoveling to clean walks.
Wash walls, partitions, and windows from the interior.
Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to climb scaffolding, with or without reasonable accommodation.
