About The Position

Jiffy Lube / Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) is hiring an Advanced Automotive Technician, also referred to as a Service Specialist or Advanced Specialist. The role performs high-level vehicle maintenance and repair services to support vehicle safety and performance. Technicians are cross-trained across multiple roles, with opportunities to build skills and increase earning potential. The position is described as full-time and offers training, advancement opportunities, and career paths in automotive work or management.

Requirements

At least 2 years of automotive service experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong commitment to safety procedures.
Willingness to develop through continuous training.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift more than 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, crawl, stoop, and climb stairs.
Comfort working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments.
Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate, unbiased service recommendations based on technician findings and manufacturer guidelines.
Deliver efficient, safety-focused customer service.
Perform advanced automotive services on engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and tire systems, as well as spark plugs and batteries.
Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, light replacements, and wiper installations.
Comply with OSHA requirements, state regulations, and Jiffy Lube standards.
Participate in on-site and e-learning training.
Support marketing events and promotions.
Maintain accurate customer, service, and inventory records.
Assist with stocking and inventory management.
Perform basic housekeeping and minor building maintenance.
Build customer loyalty through quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
