As an Advanced Software Engineer for GDMS Canonsburg, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing and building test systems that verify mission-critical hardware.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience working with electrical hardware, both hands on and programmatically
Experience with National Instruments Hardware
Proficiency with one or more of the following: C/C++ Object Oriented Development Windows/Visual Studio/.NET
Background implementing Digital Signal Processing software
Experience automating testing of physical hardware via software
Ability to lead the software development process
Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
