About The Position
Vituity is seeking a hospital medicine advanced provider, specifically a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, to join the Hospital Medicine team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. The role is part of a care team focused on improving patients’ lives and serving the local community. Good Samaritan Hospital is a 300-bed facility with an open ICU. It is a Level III Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center, and has a helipad. The stated workload is 1–3 admissions per day, with 14–17 patients and 12 encounters per night per hospitalist. Responsibilities
- Provide hospital medicine care as a member of the hospital care team.
- Manage the stated hospitalist workload of 14–17 patients and 12 encounters per night, with 1–3 admissions per day.
