About The Position

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex engineering projects within the Electronic Solutions business unit. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative avionics and sensor technologies that enhance aircraft performance and safety. You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. In this role, you will impact the successful execution of cutting-edge aerospace projects that support commercial aviation, defense, and space platforms, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

5 + years of proven experience managing complex engineering projects
Strong knowledge of project management principles, risk management, and engineering processes.
Expertise in systems engineering, integration, and testing methodologies relevant to aerospace electronics.
Familiarity with tools such as MS Project

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of avionics systems, navigation, and electromagnetic defense technologies.
Ability to drive projects to successful completion while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities
