This role is designed for a highly experienced, field-based individual contributor who can execute complex program development efforts while partnering closely with the Advanced Program Specialist Team Manager, Clinical Sales, Capital Sales, Field Service Engineering, Professional Education, and hospital stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical, commercial, or program-development capability and the ability to lead through influence, structure, accountability, and execution. The Advanced Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation, launch, and scaling of robotic surgery programs across targeted health systems, including new program development, expansion of existing programs, and competitive conversions. This role directly supports program execution in the field and helps translate launch strategy into consistent account-level action. This role operates as a hands-on program builder, requiring the Advanced Program Specialist to stay highly engaged in the field—personally contributing to market and program development, reinforcing priorities, tracking execution, and helping drive consistent adoption across accounts. The Advanced Program Specialist supports the full lifecycle of program development, encompassing the clinical, operational, and commercial elements required to successfully establish and scale programs. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating training and onboarding, supporting operational readiness, enabling clinical and stakeholder adoption, and aligning resources to achieve program success. Given the complexity of program development, this role is expected to anticipate needs, adapt quickly, and execute against the requirements necessary to launch, stabilize, and grow each program. The Advanced Program Specialist leads day-to-day program development activities in close partnership with the Advanced Program Specialist Team Manager, Clinical Sales, and Capital Sales, with a focus on program readiness, launch, early performance, and account-level execution. As programs mature, this role supports a structured transition of day-to-day clinical execution to Clinical Sales and re-engages as needed to support the program, account, or health system. Success is defined by sustainable program activation, early adoption and utilization, and the establishment of a scalable foundation that enables long-term expansion within accounts and across health systems. Following initial launch, the Advanced Program Specialist will continue to support program growth as needed—driving expanded procedural adoption, supporting key opinion leader development, and identifying opportunities to scale across sites and systems—in alignment with broader clinical and commercial leadership priorities.
